Vice President
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a defined group of clients and provide ongoing strategic communications counsel
- Build strategic PR plans that utilize traditional, broadcast, social and digital media as appropriate to meet client goals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key members of the financial media
- Create unique story angles and timely pitches to generate consistent exposure for clients through high-level media placements
- Report and provide support to a senior JCPR team member (SVP or EVP level) on a daily basis
- Supervise junior team members (account coordinators, executives and supervisors) to ensure quality of work and implementation of PR campaigns
- Assist colleagues with other client and JCPR projects as needed
- Attend new business meetings as needed
Experience/Skills Required:
- 7+ years agency experience
- Proven results executing campaigns that leverage traditional, broadcast, social and digital media
- Successful track record in securing media placements for clients
- Supervisory experience of junior staffers a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required

Managing Editor
The Managing Editor will oversee JCPR’s Content Team and assist in the development of content strategies for JCPR and its client by providing the following services:
- Coach and develop the Content team staff, including setting individual goals, managing performance and developing core competencies
- Act as a writing coach for the Content team, improving alignment with client objectives and providing feedback on word and punctuation usage, grammar, organization and clarity for all assignments
- Manage all content projects – including messaging documents, bylines, press releases and talking points -- by allocating available resources, monitoring work progress and assisting in completing all projects on deadline
- Maintain JCPR’s high standards of quality for all written content produced for the firm and on behalf of our clients
- Work directly with JCPR’s clients, via email phone calls and in-person meetings, as well as JCPR’s internal teams to conceptualize projects, steer content strategy and gather information for various writing assignments
- Support in-house editorial needs, including the writing, editing and refining of JCPR press releases, bylines and other materials
- Support all other content functions as needed
Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 8 years of management experience in an agency or other editorial roles
- Proven results in working with writers to develop their capabilities and consistency
- Experience in working with clients and successfully ghostwriting a variety of documents
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and a variety of projects simultaneously
