Account Executive/Account Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Secures media placements for clients and deliver consistent results
- Creates, as needed, unique story angles and timely pitches to generate constant exposure for clients
- Monitors, identifies and secures appropriate editorial calendar opportunities for clients
- Develops strong relationships with key members of the media
- Assists with the development and updating of media lists and other databases
- Supports senior executives on a daily basis
- Assists with the management of outside vendors to successfully complete outside work

Experience/Skills Required:

Internships
Public relations interns will be actively enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a university public relations, marketing, advertising or other related program. Current students will preferably have at least sophomore standing. The individual must demonstrate the ability to undertake basic public relations assignments, and possess an understanding of basic media relations skills and good judgment. A working knowledge of computers, as well as word processing and database management software is necessary. The public relations intern will be mentored by the public relations account executives and support top management.
Interns will work between 16-40 hours a week, or as schedule permits. No prior experience necessary.
Internship cover letters and resumes are accepted throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and updating of media lists and other databases, including client, marketing, prospect and administrative databases. Other tasks include database creation, data entry and update additions and corrections.
- Assist with the management of outside vendors to successfully complete outside work, including, but not limited to printing of materials, renting of audio/visual equipment, photography, graphic arts services or supplying needed products.
- Assist with administrative duties including fax processing, sorting, collating, stuffing envelopes, mailings and other administrative functions as assigned.
- Assist with the management of newspaper and periodical inventories for easy access.
- Support the firm’s efforts by drafting new client releases and performing research activities.
- Assist firm staff with other client, business development and firm management projects as needed.
Internships are unpaid.
Marketing Manager

All candidates must be able to develop successful marketing strategies, working with our client’s marketing team to execute marketing collateral, campaigns, and events. The candidates should have a keen eye for detail, be accustomed to working in a busy office environment and experienced in juggling multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Develops the annual strategic marketing plans for clients with our team
- Develops, executes, and maintains client marketing strategies, objectives, and targets
- Manages online marketing campaigns and publishes write ups on blogs and social networking websites for clients
- Evaluates market conditions and competitor data, implementing marketing plan changes for clients as needed
- Acts as a liaison with public relations, media and advertising
- Represents clients at corporate events, industry meets, and conferences
- Monitor, review, and report on all client marketing activities and results
- Ensure all client marketing and advertising efforts are professional, accurate, and measurably effective
- Some travel will be required
Experience/Skills Required:

- Bachelors degree required

Senior Editor
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, proactive team player with superior writing and editing skills and unwavering attention to detail. We require not only proven writing and editing abilities, but a command of AP style, solid news judgment and working knowledge of the financial industry. The Senior Editor will work within our Editorial team and out of our headquarters in Parsippany, N.J., while also working closely with our team of writers, PR professionals, interactive multimedia staff and senior management, as well as a variety of clients in multiple industries.
The ideal candidate is able to quickly integrate into the industries we serve and can deliver exceptional insight and consistent results. The candidate should be experienced in juggling multiple responsibilities and deadlines, adept at extracting information from written materials and brief interviews, able to work with writers at every level to improve copy and work product and accustomed to working in a busy office environment. The Senior Editor will serve as the first review of all JCPR-produced written material, ensuring we consistently meet our high standard of quality, as well as occasionally being asked to draft a variety of PR writing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the EVP of Content, edit content produced by our team of writers on behalf of our clients, including bylines, press releases, corporate writing, marketing materials, scripts, etc.
Work with our team of writers to define projects, address current trends in the industries we serve, refine copy and ensure that all assignments meet the criteria of our clients and the publications we work with
- Work directly with clients, via email, on the phone and in-person, to conceptualize projects and gather information for various writing assignments
- Own and manage the writing and editing process until a final product is delivered
- Support in-house editorial and content needs, including the writing, editing and refining of JCPR press releases, bylines and other materials
- Support all other editorial and content functions, as needed
- Act as a steward of the JCPR brand, consistently representing and reflecting the firm’s core values, approach and high standards of service and excellence in all client, media and public interactions.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in journalism, public relations, marketing or similar field

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, thought-provoking and creative individual with a demonstrated expertise in emerging media trends. This individual will be responsible for planning and executing social media campaigns for the firm, as well as our clients, involving blogs, microblogs, social networks, video channels and more in a highly regulated industry. Candidates should possess a strong desire to continuously keep up with the evolving social media landscape, and also have marketing and branding experience in search engine optimization and search engine marketing.
